Mid Autumn

With the spirit of Mid Autumn Festival that goes around these days, I am opening a contest for all blog readers. Below I have a riddle (mind you, it is not THAT intellectual kind) which -I am really sorry- can only be solved if you have understanding of Chinese, Indonesian, or Malay. First one who post the correct answer (as a comment) will win an Igloo bubble tea treat (one cup only ah..) from me.

"What thing is this? The small one is brave. It dares to go out alone. The big one is not so brave. Most of the time, when it goes out, it brings the small one to go out with it."

All TLO's decisions are final. Comments to justified your answer is welcomed, but comments to disprove my answer is most likely to be ignored.

C:\ My Games

Many incidents occur at the same times in my RPG game, Renaissance Kingdoms. I remember how two months ago, before my character left my hometown for a trip, everything was pretty cool. Only minor problems here and there, all of which can be settled within three days or so. Oh well, everything started with this guy forming an illegal army. While confronted by the authorities, the guy denied this and that. Out of giving benefits of the doubt, the authorities did not do anything other than strong warning. This army subsequently killed a few peasants and took over a town (considered as heavy offense) killing a few more in process. The local authorities gave chase for these guys and the rebellion was put down quickly. 12/20 people in the illegal army was killed. I thought everything was under control, but apparently not. Inside the government body there are internal struggle, regarding the effectiveness of the executive body. As a result, one of few top players quited playing Renaissance Kingdoms. Politics have become more complex. Let's see how this game is going to develop like.

On the other game I played, Requiem Locus, things have became more complex too. My character mood has dropped by much, somehow. This has caused the efficiency of that character dropped too. You see, mood affects every other statistics. I cant really understand why this happens. Maybe with the new available quests (I cant do the quests... damn) done by newer players have caused a big drop in my relative level in the whole game, as such mood is affected. But I have to be happy too, since a lot of my clansmen received a lot of EXP due to those new quests. It's good for my clan though, as the few older players have left the game due to their other commitments. At least my clan wont be overtaken by our rival clan. Well, maybe for the near future, I should try to get more stat points such that when the new quests appear, I could finish the quests and gain levels haha. In the mean time, I should grab my Gloves of Endurance (+100% to endurance, my primary stat) and start whacking for my clan. Who knows what lies ahead?

Busy.... with my thoughts....

With great power comes great responsibility... With great responsibility comes great opportunity... With great opportunity comes more power... With more power comes more responsibility... With more responsibility comes more power...

Okay, just stop listing that cycle. Oh well, my days are getting pretty too fast! Woke up at midday, do online related stuff, lecture (if any), works, night, social life, sleep... Repeat and rinse. Helllooooo... Is there any meaning of these things? Well, I believe everything under the sun has its own purpose. Just that, I cant see where all these things going to.

Speaking of which, there are many many things I have done. Sometimes, I have understood what has been prepared for me as slowly my life has unraveled itself. But some other time, I am in darkness. Why God let me do these kind of stuff (I am total predestination guy)... Here's the things I have experienced, yet I am still clueless what am I experiencing it for.

1. I dislocated my right shoulder.
2. I was hit my a motorcycle.
3. I did that what say you say thing.
4. I had a drip of hot plastic on my left leg.

Another Politic Thing

The higher the post is, the more difficult it is to post anything in blog. Yeah nonk, now I kind of understand why so secretive about the blog.

Anyways, a lot of things happened last week. Well, a lot of lobbying, a lot of surprise moves, a lot of bootlicking.... all caused by this thing called the NUSSU Exco Election. Funnily enough, the election itself (for me) is not as interesting as its behind the scene. Well, I can roughly figure out how next year Exco will look like. But hey hey, lets just see whether my facts right now are correct or just plain wrong.

As for me, my CCAs for next year have been lined up. I have cut off a lot from last year. I only take up 3 projects for next year: Vanity Fair (the project that has brought me to what I am now), NUANSA (as GENERAL LOG HELPER, Citra, u better get that right), and Cyberia Camp (time to rollllll... my boss is Hans!). Well, I still maintain my straight perfect record of never becoming a logistic head for an event. Interestingly, people tend to associate me with log. Indeed, I love log. My passion lies there. But I havent been around not doing anything but log, right? Right? RIGHT??? WHAT-EVER (say this in that girl's tone, Ted)!

But with all the CCAs, actually what do I want to achieve? I have no solid answer myself, but what I think my reasons why I join so 'many' CCA (not that many lah, I only join NUSSU mah?) is:

1. Networking! I like to meet people, having fun etc etc...
2. Helping out my friends. Not that I cant refuse, the emphasis here is not 'help' but 'friend'.
3. Passion. Well, I can smell saigang from 1 km away... If there is an offer, more often than not, I'll grab it.
4. Money. Hehe, say who you cant earn from CCAs. But money is not that important, just that the existence of it can be one of the reasons I join CCA.

PS: Let's just say this is what I have been thinking... If there are discrepancies with what I said or what I will say, well... please regard it as I say things wrongly.
