RK

Well, there is something that has been disturbing me for a few days. RK is an online role playing game which I am currently hooked to. You can just spend 5 minutes/day to do necessary things but you also can spend 18 hours/day to write your own story on the forum. Oh, speaking of which, I am running around in the game as Cycas. So if you bump into a crazy jester called Cycas, well it's about the same as meeting a crazy jester in your reall life titled The Lame One.

I should be studying now...
I should be studying now...
I should be studying now...
I should be studying now...
I should be studying now...
I should be studying now...
I should be studying now...

It is difficult to hypnotize myself. Tried to do it on my MSN pm but apparently doesnt work. Oh well, if you are an NUS student and you are reading this, remember, you are supossed to be studying right now.

PS: only valid at most 2 weeks from now.

Re:

Just a reply to this post.

Well, whether you want to be alone or not is up to you. In NUS, I think such morning-to-night fun can be done. For example, right after I wake up and take care of my pig farm at RK, I can go to Foodgle n have a chat with the igloo, prata or aston guys while drinking teh-o-kosong (local term for hot tea no sugar). If I'm lucky enough, Mdm Chen is slacking too. Then if I'm bored enough I can go to YIH, either NUSSU sect or CBLC, confirmed got anyone I know there. If just happened I am too tired, probably I could take a nap in sect, there is a hammock there. If Jeremiah never use, well... I can use. If just happened in central forum there is a bazaar, the milo truck probably stations there too... Can run around the bazaar, greeting those people I know while drinking iced milo. If I want to escape for a while from NUS, Dover market is always there. Just an overhead bridge from science, and voila... Mini Clementi at your service. In the afternoon, sometimes the gank is playing basketball or badminton. Many crazy things can happen there. After probably a dinner in Foodgle, it is the R2 time. Chilling out with fellow PGP residence, and sometimes, there are events organized by the RAs of PGP (3 of which are in the gank, so I definitely wouldnt miss). Before sleeping, sometimes there is a 'supper?' msg on my handphone. Well, either sheares or cooking, then.

See? Proven my point, right?

An Evening of Worship

A bunch of ang mohs (Singlish for Caucasians) came to Singapore a few days back. Their mission: to execute a two-night concert in the Singapore Expo. These bunch of ppl hail from the Land of Down Under and the Land Where The Sun Never Sets. I attended their concert and even dreamt of it just now.

The ticket for An Evening of Worship with planetshakers + Tim Hughes stated that 'ticket good till 715pm' but naturally, people (kiasuism indeed) had started to rush to the ticket-holders-only entrance door since 630pm. I was waiting for Joice to come with the tix with Grace and Allin (did I spell her name correctly?? i noe i did... i'm pr0skillz searching) when I witness this phenomenon.

The concert itself was not that havoc-ish, coz security measures were implanted quite tightly. Applause for the youthalpha for organizing such a grand event. The first song was the trademarked 'O Praise Him' by planetshakers and I think it was indeed a proper way to start it. It was further emphasized during second or third song, I dont remember. The worship leader said this '... you dont come to planetshakers concert. You come to church.... only Jesus' name to be worshipped...'. Now that's real something; not just an ordinary rockfest.

After more planetshakers moments, the other band (led by this Englishman called Tim Hughes) played. Well, it was slightly calmer than the atmosphere while planetshakers was playing. But hey, the style is like that as I know. First few songs were familiar to my ears but I did not know the exact lyrics were. Anyways, after the Here I am to Worship (which is very very very familiar to my ears) and a hymn (When I Survey The Wondrous Cross or so I think) there was an absoulte silence. Seriously ABSOLUTE silence whereby you can easily listen to the whirling of the fans in the Max Pavilion. Imagine that. There were easily thousands of young people there. But they were making no noise at all. Weird huh.

After a few moment of silence, the following lyrics were thrown up (not vommitted) by Tim Hughes 'You are the way, the truth and the light, we live by faith but not by sight for You...... (paused here)' and the 'riot' started again with the people replied 'we're living all for You...'. Before I knew it, it is the ultra-familiar: double-double-double-single drum routine. And that was supposedly the last song of the evening, but after the closing prayer, all the performers (as in both bands) came up on stage and played All Majesty in full throttle again, as if the concert has just started! After this song, well... back to the first O Praaaaaaaaaaise Himm..... again. Not wanting to be caught in traffic Joice suggested we should leave first. Well, we indeed leave.

----------------------------
I dont get it... I did not intend to write a review but I wrote it.... Anyways, some side notes here...

Note #1
One thing I noted was what Yanadi said is pretty much true. The drummer of planetshakers looked like he was enjoying himself too much for a worshipper. And that looked funny. I realized that he was trying to sing the songs while he was going full throttle with his drumming. Just try this yourself and you can notice that sooner or later your mouth movement would resemble a goldfish movement (you need more air you see...). And that was what making it funny. But other than that funny help-i-need-air thingy, he's good one.

Note #2
planetshakers played Jump Around that time. First name comes into my mind: Lee Shing Lam. This was the crazy guy who tried to make a cheer from this song! Everybody in the house of God, jump around! Hey hey! Jump around! Everybody in the house of of
God, jump around! Everybody.......

Note #3
It is always easier to go to concerts in small group. It is best to go with only 2 persons in your group. Other than it is easier to maneuver around, it's less trouble with the organizers. Though it was good enough, I got the second-row seat, thanks to some thick-skinness.

15/15

So actually there exists a 15/15 girl! I have been telling myself that there is such girl existing on earth, but sometimes I doubt it as well. But now, after I retyped my document to this laptop, I realized that such girl has existed right in front of my eyes (not literally!) for quite a long time already. Really man, amazing phenomenon. Sometimes we are moving too fast such that we do not care about our surrounding. And while we slow down, we would realize many things we never realize before. Speaking about slowing down, here's a nice video (it is not another prank) on slowing down (or rather stop!).

Writer's Block

Recently no idea what to post, but a lot of my thoughts currently is influenced by School Rumble. A nice crazy lame manga, yet contains quite decent storyline. But to think of it... Wouldnt it be nice if your class is filled with the people of class 2-C of School Rumble??

I would definitely go for Eri...

*edited 10 minutes after previous part*

If i think about it... I think there is a missing part of my life. My first 2 1/2 years in Singapore is a little not-so-fun. Despite all the stuff I did back there, I did not so-called live my life to the (at least near to) the fullest. I did not really join any CCA.. did not really have friends.. did not do many things I wanted to do. But hey, it cant be changed right?

Quite a lot of friends of mine tell me wonderful stories of their secondary school days in Indonesia. Wonder whether I missed that much. I talked to Nonk before this that prolly my life is more fun if I did my secondary lvl education in private institution in Indonesia... Sometimes I am quite jealous if I listen to stories from those who are from the big cities of Indonesia. Sounds like their life is so rich (I'm not talking about money here). Not that I am not grateful having my grand total of 7 years here in Singapore. Just that I wonder whether there existed any ways (though I know it does not exist) to turn back time. I'd like to go back, do my SMA in Loyola, then go back again to my cuurent past, then live my life better in BPGHS, then move to now..

About stories in comic books

A story is a story.
Typically a story would be based on real life.
But with seasoning here and there.
A pinch of tension here.
A spoonful of romance there.
A dash of failure added for flavors.

It's 2 April

First, Happy April Fool's Day to those who observe the day's custom. Too many things on my hand up to a point I only jacked bang maul, yan, bul and the prank was not that good honestly... Anyways, its 2 April...

If God never gives a challenge bigger than what I can bear, I must be damn pro already in His eyes... Sorry for the weird statement, for now I cant elaborate further... Previous post has drawn unexpected comment from various parties but no worry, I'm going to be fine, probably in a week time or so, and that prev post, I did not mean it to an exact someone (other than OSA).

Anyways, these few things kept me sane for the past two days by giving me good dose of entertainment. Enjoy (if you can) these Indon-related things.
